The American Alpha differential pressure sensor is mainly used in the drug coating machine to monitor the changes in pressure difference during the coating process in real time, ensuring the stability and consistency of the coating process. By detecting the tiny pressure differences (usually 0-500 Pa) between the inside and outside of the coating pot or between the spray gun and the material, the sensor can accurately provide the following key information:

•  Atomization effect control – by monitoring the pressure difference of the spray gun to regulate the uniformity of atomization, avoiding large or small coating droplets;
•  Air volume balance monitoring – to ensure that the pressure of the inlet and outlet air systems match, preventing dust escape or uneven coating;
•  Fault warning – such as abnormal pressure differences caused by filter blockage or pipeline leakage.

Its high precision (±1% FS) and fast response characteristics (<10 ms) can significantly improve the uniformity of the coating layer thickness, meeting the requirements of GMP for real-time monitoring of process parameters, and ultimately ensuring the quality and production efficiency of drug coating.
